Hello everyone! This is a brief update to let you know that Backerkit surveys will be sent tomorrow - Friday, March 24th. The survey will collect your address and give you one more chance to edit/add items. Filling out this survey is required to fulfill your order. Thank you so much!

If you don’t receive the survey, it is possible that it went to your spam folder or that your Kickstarter email address is not up to date. If you would like us to update your email address in Backerkit, please send the correct one to [email protected].

As a reminder, we will be sending a follow-up survey close to the delivery date where we will be collecting shipping fees. Again, we have decided to charge shipping closer to the delivery date to keep your delivery fees as low and accurate as possible.

PRE-ORDER STORE UP!

Hello everyone! Our Backerkit pre-order store is up! We will be taking additional orders for Hoki and the Seer’s Set add-ons with this store. If you know anyone who would like to order the game and/or add ons, but missed the kickstarter, please let them know as this will be available for a limited time. This past weekend we were at our last vending opportunity until April. The excitement and interaction with all of the folks that visited our table was amazing…

We have had a great time writing, drawing and directing our attention back to the project. We started with an addictive variation on a traditional game. Then we began to add depth, but we didn’t know how deep it could go. Exploring this is one of our favorite things to do.

Lookout for Backerkit surveys confirming orders and addresses in the next coming weeks. We also report back here with more project updates.  Our intention is to deliver as early as possible! Thank you again for following along and let us know if you have questions. 🙂

You will be among the first to get a copy of Hoki: Fortune Telling Legacy Solitaire. You will become the first Seers!

What’s next? As we mentioned, look out for a Backerkit survey in the next couple of weeks which will help us deliver exactly what you want from your pledge. With it you can adjust/add rewards, or simply confirm your selections made during the campaign. Also and importantly, you will confirm your shipping address.

When it gets closer to the ship date later this year, we will be sending a follow-up survey where we will be collecting shipping fees. We have decided to hold off on collecting shipping fees until closer to delivery so that we can offer the most accurate (and lowest) shipping fees possible for you. We also plan to absorb some of these fees to keep them as low as possible.

We will report back roughly every month with our progress.

CAMPAIGN ENDING SOON!

Hello everyone! 

A huge thank you for being with us this far and for joining us on this adventure. What a crazy experience for us and we are so thankful for your support. 

Just a couple of items. We are excited to share a new tutorial video from one of our favorite channels, The Card Guy! His page is a massive source of knowledge for solitaire games and his work is charming, thorough, and funny. We think it's the best place to learn just about any solitaire game you can think of. We are honored to have a place on his page and we can’t thank him enough! Thank you Card Guy!

Just a few things to cover as the campaign draws to a close!

1.  You will receive a Backerkit survey following the campaign. This is where you will finalize your pledge and the items you will receive. Backerkit is a tool that will help us manage everyone’s pledges and items.
    
2. We will be making a big push to try to get any last minute pledgers on board.
    
3. We will be live on Instagram Tuesday, 8pm EST to play some rounds and answer questions!

WEEK 3 UPDATE!

Hello everyone!

We had such a great time at Providence Flea this past weekend. It was really awesome to meet all of the vendors and to play Hoki with so many people. The responses have been phenomenal and the excitement is growing.

If you haven’t already, give the demo a run with a modified deck of playing cards to see what it’s like to play Act 1.  See if you can spot some strategies! Demo rules linked here:

The two of us have been writing, illustrating, and planning the final steps of design in our free time. Also, there are 7 days left in the campaign and we’re getting ready for a final push. 

We will be playing live on Instagram next Tuesday, Feb 21st. Tune in to see Hoki in action! 🙂

We are looking forward to delivering you this high quality, addictive, and unique experience. Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions about the project.
