Hello everyone!
What a week! Time has gone by so quickly. We have you to thank for making all of this possible. Welcome to our new backers and thank you for being with us on this fun adventure! This past week, the two of us have been working on more outreach, finalizing game design, and writing for the fortune book.
Some quick news - we will soon be sharing a demo video from one of our favorite Youtube channels and we know you are going to love it! In the coming weeks, we will be running demos out inProvidence, RI, starting at Providence Flea this Sunday Feb 12th from 11am to 3pm.
We have had a couple of backers ask about how the fortune book ties into the gameplay. Every win-state in Hoki has its own page and its own fortune. There are 72 potential fortunes you can receive, that is, once you’ve unlocked the fortune book! The drawings in each card include 3 different symbols which correspond to one of those win-states. DM us if you have more questions about that because it has implications on the strategy and Hoki involves a process of discovery as you become… a Seer!

Hello everyone and welcome newcomers!
We are 1 week into the Kickstarter and can’t thank you all enough for the support! Thank you for backing Hoki. We are so excited to share this game with you.
This past week, we have been working on finalizing some designs and components involving the fortune book. We have also updated the campaign page to include new reviews and a publication you can check out below. We are thrilled to hear all of the positive feedback! There will be more reviews and videos to come in the next few weeks.

We have some local events coming up in Rhode Island, USA where people can try Act 1 of Hoki in person. Also we are planning to play live Act 1 demos on our Instagram page in the coming weeks. Look out for notifications on our instagram page if you want to watch and/or play! We have a great time on Hoki Live :)
We are hopeful to reach some of our stretch goals by the end of the campaign! Remember, these goals are designed to benefit every backer. Make sure to share this campaign with anyone you think would be interested.

Thank you all so much for being with us today and for as long as you have been with us! We cannot create this game without you and are humbled by all of the support so far! This whole process has been both fun and challenging. We have had very long nights for the past few weeks, and the work extends months and years back. YOU are ultimately the deciding factor for this project. Thank YOU for seeing something a little different and believing in it. We promise you won't be disappointed. We are excited to deliver something that is of the highest quality and will provide a fun and engaging experience.
Exciting News! Kickstarter has officially recognized Hoki as "A Project We Love." We are so grateful to be selected by Kickstarter as a project that stands out.
We are at the very beginning of something that we would like to do for a long time. We have so many plans and ideas. Right now, we are going to continue to reach out to new people and groups to grow this campaign and reach our stretch goals. As you may have read, the stretch goals are designed to benefit everyone!
